When two people are completely in sync — not just in love, but truly connected — you can feel it in every moment. That was Mallory and Josh.
These two traveled all the way from out of state to elope in one of Colorado’s most iconic and awe-inspiring locations: Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs. With towering red rock formations, wide open skies, and desert-meets-mountain views, it was the perfect place for a day that was completely, unapologetically theirs.
Their elopement began with a quiet hike down a dusty dirt road, just the two of them (and me, tagging along with my camera). We took our time exploring the landscape — stopping to climb onto rocks, soaking in the views, and letting time unfold naturally.
When we reached their ceremony spot — surrounded by massive sandstone cliffs and open space — Mallory and Josh exchanged vows in the softest late afternoon light. It was simple, intimate, and full of heart. No distractions, just their promises and the beauty around them.
After saying “I do,” they popped champagne and shared a slice of cake perched on a rock ledge — laughter, frosting, and a little bit of wind in their hair. It was the kind of celebration that didn’t need anything extra, because it already had everything that mattered.
Mallory and Josh, thank you for letting me be part of such an intentional and beautiful day. Your elopement was a perfect reminder that the best weddings are the ones that feel like you.
