I met Alex a few years ago when she asked me to photograph a styled shoot she had set up. She is a local wedding coordinator who is amazing at her job (shoutout Peak Event Planning). We remained in touch over the years as I photographed some of her friends engagements and weddings.
This past summer Alex's boyfriend, Gabriel, reached out to me about capturing his proposal to her. It was an amazing moment to witness and I was honored to be a part of it (she said yes, of course)! Fast forward a few months and I was able to photograph their engagement photos too.
Alex and Gabe grew up in Colorado and have been together for over nine years, so naturally there are many spots around Colorado Springs that are meaningful to them. Red Rock Canyon is one of those special places, so this is where they decided to have their engagement session. We had such a great time wandering through the park, hiking up the trails, and popping champagne as we watched a beautiful sunset over the front range. It was a perfect evening.
Congrats again, you two! I can't wait for your upcoming wedding.
