Sometimes life has a funny way of bringing the right people together at just the right time.
Colorado Springs was the place where Cassidy and Trevor's relationship began, so it only felt fitting to capture their engagement photos surrounded by the landscapes that hold so many memories for them. They envisioned something that felt straight out of a storybook—romantic, natural, and full of beautiful mountain views. To bring that vision to life, they wanted to incorporate a cozy picnic setup with fresh flowers and a few personal touches, creating a session that felt relaxed, intentional, and uniquely theirs.
One of my favorite things about these two was how effortlessly they could make each other laugh. Their relationship is playful and full of genuine joy. Whether they were sharing quiet moments on the blanket or laughing as they wandered through the scenery, every part of the evening felt authentic to who they are.
That is my goal with every couple I photograph: to create an experience where you can slow down, enjoy each other, and walk away with photographs that tell your story—not just how you looked, but how this season of life felt.
