Karen and Mitchell decided to get married on their 6 year dating anniversary. They didn’t let anything hold them back from getting married, including some rain predictions. Not only did they make the day extra meaningful by being on their anniversary, but they also decided to take it full circle and had their elopement ceremony in the same location that they got engaged and had their first date! The evening started with a first look with Mitch and Karen, and their daughter, Ally. They had an intimate vow exchange and a first kiss as a married couple, and then signed their marriage license. We adventured on the red rocks and climbed to the exact spot that Mitch proposed. We then drove to a second location, explored, and took some more portraits. The evening ended with a first dance and a champagne pop! The skies ended up clearing up and being a beautiful sunset and a perfect evening. I look forward to capturing their reception celebration later this fall, in Phantom Canyon brewery, with their friends and family!
