Kya and Micah are the kind of couple you just know is meant for each other. From the moment I met them five years ago, I could see their love was unique. They have known each other most of their lives, with their families being good friends, and they've basically grown up together. They have a beautiful partnership and it's been a joy to watch their love story unfold over the years. I've had the opportunity to photograph their first pregnancy, their second pregnancy, and now their THIRD pregnancy! With every baby and each passing year, these two seem to be closer and more in love than ever.
This shoot was extra special because they invited me to their property in Black Forest where they own 5 acres and rent out tiny homes they've built themselves - how cute is that?! On the day of our session, we had a fresh covering of snow on the ground and Micah drove us back into their woods a bit. Despite the cold, we had a blast capturing some great family photos and making new memories they can look back on for years to come!
